Jake Webster

Racing Manager

Jake has been in harness racing since he was born growing up with the Webster name and being the grandson of Dick Webster. Jake has driven in races with the opportunity to represent South Australia in 2 junior drivers Championships. Jake now works with Summit Bloodstock and focuses on identifying quality horses and traits that are suited to Australian racing. His knowledge of individual state rating systems allows Summit Bloodstock to maximise the earning opportunities of your horse.

Jamie Durnberger

General Manager

Jamie began his harness racing journey driving track work with the late great Kevin Robinson sons Chris & Terry Robinson on the south coast of NSW. Jamie went on to live with and work for one of the living legends of harness racing in Vic Frost before spending 4 years at Gary Halls stables in WA where he learned all facets of the industry. This knowledge and hands on experience allowed Jamie to network with like-minded participants of the industry to instill the Summit Bloodstock name.

Liz Webster

Financial Director

The Summit bookkeeper and bank manager – always trying to keep the boys in check. Liz has loved the horses and racing since being married to Ron and following her sons Jake and Brodie’s successful driving and training careers. The ownership has been an unexpected venture and she has been thrilled to watch the horses win, the horse numbers grow, and the thrill that the company has been able to bring to many owners from far and wide.

Tom Murphy

Asset Manager

Tom has been raised in the harness racing industry, with his father, Shane, fostering a strong foundation in the field through the establishment of a predominantly standardbred-based stud. Throughout his upbringing, Tom has displayed a strong entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through his numerous endeavors ranging from online businesses to lawn mowing services during his childhood. Combining his innovative mindset with his extensive knowledge and experience in the harness racing industry, we have determined that Tom is an ideal candidate for our team.
